Work Experience hasn't worked out

This hasn't happened as planned. The date was set i was ready and nothing happened, still seeing if a can manage to get next week there but thats probably doubtful. So earlier this week i decided to e-mail some of the people whose work i admire to see there opinion and what advice they could give to me as a designer.
