Photography

i like photography preferably if its quite dramatic and stands out. Thats the reason why i like these images and why i feel they work well the colour overtones and the perspective of the shot make the image more interesting. The work is by Hamad Darwish.

Billie Jean

Another artists work i like is that Billie Jean. I saw this i while back and found it quite interesting because of the amount of detail that was in it and how that when you looked closer you saw more different parts to the advert and i like how well the doodle style works with the with the question "Things on your mind?".

Editorial illustrations for Ford Magazine, Forward Publishing

Crush is a design team i found while looking around the web. I like some of their work but this significantly stood out for me because i found it inspiring for my research module and although i probably won't use it i like the overall layout on use of circles as though dial on a car, i also like the colour choices as they seem to work quite well for the design.

More work to look at, this by Holly Wales. I like the use of the rings to give a sense of distance and overall look of the work is quite abstract but looks distinctively different from other abstract pieces

Symbols

Looking for inspiration i found Lawrence Zeegen an artist who uses many symbols in his work and i found it interesting in the way the symbols are arranged on the page to make them more interesting. The work i liked possibly the most, is that of the manufactured Popstars which clearly shows manufactured popstars and what it consists of. I like his work and it has helped me in visual my research in a simple and interesting way.
